Tomatoes are the perfect summer food and I like trying to find new things to do with them. I came across recipes of people baking them and gave it a chance. This is what I came up with!
This recipe could not be easier, it doesn’t use measurements, just sprinkle of this and that to your liking, bake, and enjoy!
Italian seasoning, to taste
Pinch of red pepper flake
Parmesan cheese, enough to cover each tomato half
Mozzarella cheese for sprinkling
3 Teaspoons of olive oil, enough to coat each half of tomato
Pinch of garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley, for sprinkling
Preheat your oven to 450.
Slice the tomatoes in half horizontally and get out the seasoning being used. Add a pinch of Garlic to your olive oil.
Brush the tomatoes with the garlic olive oil, then top with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasonings.
Add your cheeses and a drizzle of the olive oil, or spray the tops with cooking spray.

Bake for 20 minutes* and let the cheese become a bit golden, top with parsley, and enjoy.
